Silver South African Krugerrand
Obverse: Displays a portrait of Paul Kruger. This left-profile portrait of Kruger was created in the 1890s for the gold coins of the South African Pound and used throughout his time in office as the President of the South African Republic.
Reverse: Features an image of the Springbok antelope. The image of the antelope was created in the 1930s and used on various denominations of South African currency in the 1930s and the 1940s. It has been featured on the Krugerrand since 1967. Silver Krugerrand coins are packaged in tubes of 25, with 20 tubes in a "monster box" containing a total of 500 coins.
